[Principle] This reagent is made using the principle of colloidal gold immunochromatography (GICA). After adding the sample to the loading well, it moves along the chromatographic membrane together with the colloidal gold marker. If antibodies against Pasteurella mulcidal are present in the sample, they bind to the colloidal gold marker and antigens on the detection line, resulting in a purplish-red color. If there are no antibodies against Pasteurella mulcida, no color reaction occurs.

[Storage and Shelf Life] Store in a cool, dry place (2-30°C), shelf life is 24 months.
[Sample Requirements]
1. This test card is only suitable for testing serum/whole blood from pigs, cattle, and sheep.
2. Serum: Draw 2-3ml of blood as usual and place it in a clean, dry test tube, let it stand for about 1 hour until coagulated, then centrifuge at 4000 rpm for 10 minutes (blood can also be left to stand for about 2 hours until coagulation and serum precipitates naturally), then separate the serum. The serum must be clear, without hemolysis or contamination. Serum samples can be stored at 2~8°C in the short term, but at -20°C in the long term.
3. Whole blood: Use fresh anticoagulant whole blood on the same day; untreated whole blood is used freshly collected.
[Test Method]
1. Serum/whole blood sample addition method: Tear open the aluminum foil packaging of the test card, take out the test card, place it on a flat, clean counter, use the pipette inside the bag to slowly drop 1 drop of serum or 2 drops of whole blood into the sample well, then add 2 drops of diluent to the loading well.
2. Leave at room temperature for 10-15 minutes to determine the result; color results after 15 minutes are invalid.
[Result Judgment]

1. Negative: In the observation hole, only a purplish-red line appears in the reference line area (C).
2. Positive: In the observation well, both the detection line area (T) and the control line area (C) show purple-red lines. The higher the antibody titer, the darker the color of the test line (T).
3. Ineffective: No purplish-red lines appear in the reference line area (C) inside the observation hole.
[Diagnostic Reference]
1. If the animal has not been vaccinated with excessive Pasteurella multicidal vaccine:
A. When no obvious color bands appear at the test line T of the sample, the sample does not contain multitocidal Pasteurella antibodies. If the population is healthy, it indicates no multitocidal infection.
B. When a clear color band appears at the test line T of the sample, it indicates the animal has a multocidal pasteurella infection or a previous infection, which should be further verified.
2. If the animal has been vaccinated with excessive Pasteurella polycidal vaccine:
A. When no obvious color bands appear at the test line T of the sample, it indicates that the vaccine immunity has not produced protective antibodies, and there is a risk of infection with wild toxins. Vaccine catch-up vaccination is recommended.
B. When a clear color band appears at the test line T of the sample, it indicates that the vaccine has produced protective antibodies, and the likelihood of being infected with the wild toxin is low. However, if symptoms of Pasteurella multocidal infection appear, it cannot be ruled out that the infection may have occurred due to immune failure.
[Limitations of the Test Method]
This test card is for screening only and does not serve as a basis for diagnosis.
[Notes]
1. Please read the manual carefully before testing. All reagents provided by this product are for use only.
2. Do not use other animal serum or other liquids that are not required for the sample as negative controls.
3. Products that are expired or have damaged aluminum foil bags must not be used.
4. When removing the test card from the refrigerator, it should be opened after returning to room temperature. Once opened, the test card should be used as soon as possible to avoid deterioration after moisture.
5. Avoid using contaminated, cloudy, severely hemolytic, or large blood lipid samples.
6. Avoid contact with the chromatography film at the sample holes and detection windows on the test card.
7. Waste from the test should be considered pollutants and properly handled according to local regulations.
